Rock in the Community

Rock’s core focus is the delivery of better rail and bus infrastructure for the benefit of the local communities who either use it directly or benefit from it in other ways.

Within the rolling stock and zero emission bus sectors, as well as helping deliver step change improvements to the travelling experiences of passengers, Rock’s unique funding approach has driven enhanced value for the both taxpayer and the government.

Rock’s innovative approach has also opened up new opportunities for the institutional investor sector and driven new investment into the rail industry. The collaboration with institutional investors who invest in projects developed by Rock Rail and Rock Road delivers a reliable long-term return for pension funds which in turn helps deliver a secure income for people at retirement across the county.

Rock is pleased to further reach out and connect with local communities through other charitable and community-based initiatives.
