Health – Exploration

Exploration

The UK PPP industry was built on a solid pipeline of healthcare PFI schemes from the mid-90’s onwards. That investment wave is now largely complete, having successfully delivered a renewal of the NHS acute hospital estate on time and on budget. UK healthcare now faces new challenges – new technologies, an aging population, more flexible requirements, and the mixing together of healthcare and elements of social services – all against the background of budgetary constraint. New models are required to deliver the required investment to meet these challenges, and capture and share value streams in a way that works for both investors and the public sector. Rock Infrastructure will work with investors and the public sector – at Trust, regional level and/or with central government levels – to develop investible schemes that can deliver service improvements, allocate risk optimally and ensure value for money investment.
