Rock Rail set to climb the highest peaks again in support of the Railway Children charity

Rock Rail

‘Team Rock 2019’ will be tested to the limit as it takes on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon this summer in a massive effort to raise funds for the Railway Children charity

Rock Rail is thrilled to be participating for the second year in a row in Railway Children’s Three Peaks Challenge by rail on 13th–15th June. The challenge is the only event that does the Three Peaks by train, with teams from across the rail industry climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales and taking a special Railway Children train to each mountain.

This year’s ‘Team Rock’ is made up of Andreas Credé, George Bearfield, Mike Kean and Nick English. The team have kicked off their gruelling training regime for the event and have their sights set on raising as much money for the Railway Children charity as they can.

For the past 20 years, Railway Children has been fighting for children alone and at risk on the streets. It has provided protection and opportunity to over a quarter of a million children in need across the UK, India and East Africa forced to leave home because of unbearable poverty, abuse, violence or neglect.

We really appreciate your support and if you are able to make a donation to help the team raise funds for Railway Children please click on the link below.
