Earlier this year Rock Rail Holdings CEO, Mark Swindell, and Commercial Director, Nick Watson, visited Stadler’s factory in Bussnang, Germany, joining other members of the team managing the delivery of trains for the recently awarded Abellio East Anglia Franchise.
Pictured is Mark Swindell ‘taking control’ of the driver’s cab as attendees had the opportunity to see Stadler’s mock-ups of both the cab and the train interiors for the units that will ultimately operate on the Abellio East Anglia Franchise from late 2019. The combination of twenty 12-car Intercity Electric Multiple Units and thirty-eight Regional Bi-mode Multiple Units, in both 3-car and 4-car configuration, are designed to provide a significantly enhanced passenger experience and to transform rail travel for the people of Norfolk and Suffolk.
