The “face” of the new Rock Rail East Anglia trains was unveiled last month at the Stadler factory in Bussnang where the new trains are being assembled

During his visit to the Stadler factory in Switzerland, Nick Watson, Rock Rail Commercial Director, was one of the first to see the cab or ‘face’ of the new trains being fitted to the body shell of one of the 58 new trains that will be entering service on the Greater Anglia franchise next year.

The new trains are set to transform the travelling experience for rail passengers on the Norwich to London InterCity route, the Stansted Express and the important regional services throughout East Anglia. All trains will be fitted with air conditioning, plug and USB sockets, fast free wifi, accessible toilets and cycle spaces. Passengers will also benefit from the latest in real time passenger information systems.
